Follow the following steps to fix your joy-con thumbstick.

 

  1. Remove batteries from controller
  2. Using your thumb move the thumbstick to the side to show the dust guard
  3. Using a toothpick gently lift the dust guard
  4. Use the narrow spray applicator of the can to apply some contact cleaner under the dust guard.
  5. Using your thumb move the stick in all directions
  6. Leave for a few minutes to evaporate
